Our philosophy is that well-rested children are happier and better able to learn from the world around them; well-rested parents are more patient, and more present for their children; and, well-rested families are healthier, happier, and more able to enjoy each other.
With every skill that your child will learn – be it rolling, crawling, pulling to stand, or even taking solid foods – you will be guiding them, supporting them, and offering love and reassurance all throughout the process. We believe sleep should be treated the same way, with you guiding your child through the course of learning to sleep independently. This is how children learn best.
We are moms – we understand that helping your child through a big change can be overwhelming, and even a little scary. That’s ok – we are here to help you through this process, every step of the way.
I am passionate about children’s sleep. I firmly believe that a well-rested family is a happier, healthier family. I am committed to working with tired parents to help them help their little ones get the healthy rest they need – that means getting amazing, uninterrupted nighttime sleep, and taking proper, restful naps, all within a supportive and guided two-week program!
The tools and knowledge gained through a Master’s Degree in health communications and a Certificate in Infant & Toddler Sleep Consulting have allowed me to help hundreds of families gain amazing, healthy sleep for their children. I also have more than 10 years’ experience in the field of health communications.

She is also blessed to be the Mom of two beautiful little girls who are, thanks to hard work, excellent little sleepers!
After struggling with and then overcoming her own little one’s sleep challenges, Alex says her eyes were opened – not only to how to support her girls in becoming strong sleepers, but also to the bigger picture: Why sleep is so crucial to both our children’s development and a family’s overall well being. This newfound knowledge lit a fire in her to gain the training and knowledge that would allow her to support other families as they navigate the challenges and hardships that come with sleep difficulties.

“We are so happy we contacted The Happy Sleep Company. Our daughter relied on being rocked to sleep every night and for all naps. She was also sleeping in our room between her bassinet and our bed. She is now sleeping 12 hours straight every night and has 3 solid naps a day. We sleep much better at night and have so much more time to get things done around the house while baby naps. If you are considering taking the steps in bettering your child’s sleep, I would highly recommend the Happy Sleep Company.”
“Working with Erin was the best decision we made! Our 7 month old was up 2-3 times per night and her naps were often very short (30 minutes) and inconsistent and often she needed to be nursed to sleep. On night two of Erin’s program our daughter slept through the night; my husband and I were in shock. She continues to sleep 12 hours straight at night and her naps are much longer and becoming more consistent. I cannot stress enough the difference this has made in her energy and happiness (and ours!). She is SO much happier and bedtime is no stress now! Erin is extremely knowledgeable, understanding, reliable, competent, responsive and supportive. We cannot thank her enough and we definitely recommend working with her if your child is having any sleep difficulties.”
“We had a great experience with Erin, within 10 days our very stubborn 3.5 year old boy is sleep trained! Our son went from taking 1-2 hours to lay with until he fell asleep at night and naps as well as night wakes and coming into our room at all hours of the night to now going into his bed on his own going to sleep and then sleeping until 6-7am. We are SO happy, we wish we had called earlier! Worth every penny.”
“Thanks to all the extra effort you put into developing a plan that would work for our particular situation with hubby being away, we’ve got a routine that’s easy for us to stick to. I think the girls have even bonded over it. They enjoy their tub time together every night and Avery sings “Twinkle Twinkle” to Liv every night before we put her in the crib. It’s the sweetest thing!
But the changes in our home did not stop at sleep. I used to be such a zombie all day. I was so easily frustrated trying to deal with a baby that was cranky from being over-tired and a toddler who is… well a toddler! And most of this would be taken out on my husband. But now that I’m getting a full night’s sleep, I am able to be the mommy I want to be. I can be patient with my 2-year-old (and my hubby) and I think I’m ready to tackle potty training. Plus, with Liv’s naps being longer, I have the time and energy to get a few more things done around the house. I even started getting some workouts in! Lastly, now that Liv is not snacking all night she eats so much better in the day and is really starting to enjoy the solid food that she really didn’t have much interest in before.
Really, our whole world has changed for the better and we have you to thank. The program worked like a dream but what really made the difference was the personal support and guidance we received throughout the whole process. It was so reassuring to know that we were on the right track and that we weren’t in it alone. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”
“It was such a pleasure working with Erin! We were at our wits end with sleep deprivation having a child who woke up so many times at night that we lost track of the number of night wakings. And naps were almost none existent, she napped for 30-40 mins at a time if we were lucky! Needless to say we we’re utterly exhausted and barely functioning.
After the second day of working with Erin, we had a child who miraculously slept through the night and napped for 1-1.5 hours at a time! My husband and I were totally flabbergasted by these results! The positive change is not only in our child’s sleeping habits, but she’s now a happier baby overall because a rested baby is a happy baby. We now have the time to do things for ourselves and more energy to keep up with our beautiful little girl!
A worthwhile investment to a new rested self and baby… what’s better than that!
Thank you Erin!”
Many clients ask us about “Cry it out” – this is not our approach. “Cry it out” is a method of sleep training that is also often referred to as “extinction,” and involves leaving your child alone until they fall asleep without support. Again, this is not our approach. It is very important to us as your sleep consultants, and to the entire process of your child successfully learning independent sleep, that you be there for your child to provide ongoing support, guidance, love and reassurance as they are learning.
It is also very important to understand, however, that – while our approach will not have you leaving your child to simply “figure out” independent sleep on their own – there will inevitably be tears involved when your child is learning any new skill, and learning healthy sleep habits is no exception. What is important is that we help our clients manage the protest that comes along with their child undergoing a big change and learning a new skill, so that they learn quickly with tons of love and consistency.
